The ten frequencies / 888 Hz

888 Hz

The frequency of overflow

This frequency is not a petition for abundance. It is an orientation toward it.

A practitioner’s frequency, not a Solfeggio tone.

What it is for

888 Hz is not a Solfeggio tone, and I want to be clear about that. It is a practitioner’s frequency used in abundance work, and it shares the Solfeggio family’s number pattern: 8 + 8 + 8 = 24, and 2 + 4 = 6. I use it in my own abundance practice and in the course because of what it has done for that practice, not because research proves anything about it.

What I go to it for is overflow: the body’s relationship with money and resources shifting from monitoring and managing to trusting and receiving. I use it last, after safety, release and worthiness, so the body meets it from a settled place.

What it can feel like

Expansion rather than effort. A sense of enough, then more than enough. Days that begin here tend to be met differently.

Everyone’s body answers in its own way. Notice what yours does rather than looking for what someone else described.

What the research says

There is no research on 888 Hz. None. Treat it as a practice tone and let your own experience decide what it is worth to you.

What the research shows about sound, breath and frequency

How I use it

  • At the end of the abundance sequence: 174 Hz, then 396, then 528, then 888 Hz for eight to ten minutes.
  • In the morning, before you look at your phone or your bank balance.

Headphones carry the tone best. Never while driving.

In the course

This tone also plays on its own in Frequency Studio.

A question to take with you

What decisions would you make differently if your baseline assumption were abundance rather than scarcity?

From Chapter 27 of Frequency Shift, which goes deeper into this frequency.

Before you can heal anything, you have to feel safe enough to try.
